Davood Poormozafari

Dr. Pourmozafari is an assistant professor at the Department of Persian Language and Literature. He received his doctorate degree in 2013 after defending a dissertation entitled "A Stylistic Study of Sufi Speeches" at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. This dissertation was recognized in the fourth ceremony of the "Master Fathollah Mojtabaei Award" (Central Book City, 2014). Pourmozafari completed his master's degree at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad after defending a thesis entitled "The Life, Works and Thoughts of Dr. Gholam Hossein Yousefi." This thesis was also selected in the sixth Ferdowsi Research Festival (Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, 2007) and in the 12th student thesis selection ceremony (Jahad Daneshgahi Tehran, 2008) and won a number of awards. He wrote an article entitled "The method of text correction and Ta'liq writing method of Dr. Gholamhossein Yousefi's" published in the Festschrift of Dr. Gholamhossein Yousefi (Tehran: Written Heritage Publishing, 2009). Another article of his entitled "The Macro-Structure of Sufism Order and Its Ideological Role" (Literary Criticism Quarterly, 2017) was recognized in the first Golden Criticism Award (Iranian Literary Critics Association, 2019) as a noteworthy article
