The faculty's computer center

The computer center is a subset of the faculty's Deputy for Research and is located on the ground floor of the faculty in the hallway dedicated to the English language department and the French language department. Equipped with 40 systems with the most up-to-date software and hardware, the center is ready to serve all students from different departments in the faculty. Each student (undergraduate, graduate, or Ph.D.) is provided with a personal username and password to have Internet connection and be internationally recognized as a student at Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz. They can use the net in the site to carry out their research activities. The center has a wireless router which enables the users to connect to the university's network and the Internet through their mobile phones and laptops. In the computer center, there are a few experts and specialists in the field of information technology who are ready to solve the problems with the computer systems in the faculty very shortly after they are spotted.

The equipment and services provided by the Computer Center at the Faculty of Letters and Humanities are as follows:

• Technical and executive services provided by the webinar hall for holding meetings and virtual defense sessions

• Technical and executive services provided by the amphitheater halls for holding conferences and seminars

• Technical and executive services for launching video conferences in the seminar room

• Technical and executive services in classrooms with projectors to hold graduate and Ph.D. students' defense sessions

• Activating Internet accounts for faculty members, staff and students in the faculty

• Launching VPN for Android phones to connect to the university's Internet

• Providing students, staff and faculty members with a university email address

• Posting news and information about the faculty in the portal

• Troubleshooting and updating the systems at the computer center for the faculty's students
• Fixing the problems with computer systems for the staff and the faculty
• Fixing the problems with the Internet connection and the computer systems of the faculty, the staff and the students
