Dr. Nasiri Shiraz is an assistant professor at Department of Persian Language and Literature in the Faculty of Letters and Humanities of Shahid Chamran University, Ahvaz. She is interested in the field of ancient poetry and prose, especially text correction. She teaches selected courses of poetry of Khorasani style poets, selected texts of educational literary prose and history of literature 1 and 2 at undergraduate programs. She teaches the history of Bayhaqi, the history of Jahangoshai Joveini, contemporary Persian literary research, analysis and study of Persian stories of heroism, and principles and methods of text correction to master's level students. In the PhD program, she teaches research in Persian prose texts.
