The Faculty's Responsibilities

• Developing and organizing educational and research programs for the various majors currently run in the faculty in cooperation with the university's Vice Chancellor for Education and Research

• Theoretical and practical training of students in related majors and programs in accordance with the syllabi for the courses and the general educational rules and policies announced by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology and the university

• Direct supervision over the Heads of the departments for the proper performance of their duties

• Preparing and organizing the teaching schedule for all members of the departments in coordination with the faculty's deputy for educational affairs and graduate studies

• Assessing and predicting the faculty's various needs (personnel, equipment, tools, and supplies) as well as following up the cases to meet the annual needs of the faculty in cooperation with the university's deputy for administrative and financial affairs

• Coordinating the decisions made by the faculty's departments in their educational and research councils

• Attending educational, research and graduate studies councils in the faculty and the university

• Adjusting the work schedule of the faculty's staff.

• Constant monitoring as to the proper execution of duties assigned to the staff, continuous evaluation of the staff, and the provision of necessary guidance

• Providing educational and research services to organizations and industrial sectors in accordance with the university's policies

• Preparing reports and providing required data and statistics to authorities

• Filing and maintaining students' and personnel's records in coordination with the relevant units
