Dr. Salehi Mazandarani was born in 1958 in Isfahan. He completed his primary and secondary education in the same city and immediately began his undergraduate studies in Persian language and literature at the University of Isfahan, and during the years in which Iranian universities were shut down, he participated in artistic activities. In 1985, he was accepted for a master's degree program in Persian language and literature at Tarbiat Modares University. After graduation, he was employed by Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz and completed his doctoral program in Persian language and literature in 2002 at the same university. Currently, with more than 31 years of experience, he teaches mainly two fields of epic texts and rhetoric to students of bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees, and his research has often been in the same two fields.
