Saeed Maleki is a professor of geography and urban planning at Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz. He received his bachelor's degree in 1997 from the University of Isfahan, and in 2000 and 2007 he managed to receive his master's and doctoral degrees in geography and urban planning from the University of Tabriz. His research interests include sustainable urban development and innovations in urban and regional planning. He teaches sustainable urban development, applied urban land planning, and theories of urban development and planning at Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz. He is the author and editor of the Quarterly Journal of Sustainable Urban and Regional Development Studies.
