Farshid Naderi is an assistant professor of the history of ancient Iran at Shahid Chamran University in Ahvaz. He holds a master's degree and a doctorate in the history of ancient Iran from the University of Tehran. His doctoral dissertation is on the Parthian social and political culture of the Sassanid period. His field of interest in research is on the history and culture of Iran in the Parthian period
