Dr. Tashkori was born in Izeh, Khuzestan in March 1960, but he is originally from Behbahan. He received his bachelor's degree in Persian language and literature summa cum laude from Shahid Chmran University of Ahvaz in 1988, and in 1992, he received his master's degree with honors from the same university. Also, in 2002, as a lecturer of Shahid Chamran University with a few years of experience, he managed to defend his doctoral dissertation entitled "Poetry of the Akhavan Saales: A literary criticism and analysis". Dr. Tashakkori was the first doctoral student of Persian language to graduate. Since then, he has been active as an assistant professor and associate professor of Persian language and literature in the Department of Persian Language and Lietrature at Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz. He has written one book and more than thirty articles in national academic journals and presented several dozen articles in national and international conferences. Since 2004, he has been teaching in the master's degree program, and since 2006 he has been teaching in the PhD program. He has been the supervisor of more than thirty master's theses and eight doctoral dissertations, and has been the advisor of more than twenty theses and dissertations in the two programs.
