 Dr. Jokar was born in 1967 in Aligudarz and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Persian language and literature from the University of Guilan. He received a master's degree in cultural management and planning from Allameh Tabatabaei University and a doctorate degree in Persian language and literature from Shahid Chamran University in Ahvaz. He is currently an associate professor in the Department of Persian Language and Literature at this university. Dr. Jokar has taught various courses including "contemporary prose literature", "Attar's Masnavi (Attar's rhyming couplets)" and "Saeb and Indian style poets", in undergraduate programs, and "Qashiriyya Resaleh (Qashiriyya treatise) and Kashf-al-Mahjoob (the discovery of the unseen)" for master's level students. He teaches "Research in Persian lyrical texts" in the PhD program. Dr. Jokar's research interests are generally in line with the fields of these courses.
