The Department of French Language and Literature scientifically supervises the publication of a scientific-research journal: Journal of French Language and Literature Studies.

 

Competitive advantage of the department:

The Department of French Language and Literature enjoys a variety of professors' specialties from language teaching to French literature and comparative literature, literary criticism, and translation studies. It has a rich specialized library and two language laboratories. With 47 years of experience, this department is one of the oldest departments of French language and literature in the country and the largest and most prestigious department of French language and literature in the south and southwest of the country. Relying on its experienced and knowledgeable staff, this department has the definite potential to attract international students, especially from neighboring countries in all three BA, MA, and PhD programs.
